I did NOT go to an Eggstravaganza on Saturday & not wear sunblock- nope, that would just be silly!!
I also did NOT not put sunscreen on lil P... :(

I did NOT overeat @ lunch & vow to never eat again, ughh!

I was NOT tempted to push one of the girls in the pond by our home today as they were leaning over looking @ turtles! Nope, now that would just be down rite mean!

We are NOT heading out in a bit to see "How to Train your Dragon" on a school day, no we are not... ;)

I did not sit & think about how in the world I can eak out a trip again this year to fly home (Florida) & lay on the beach w/ my bestie... & Ahhh, I'm NOT dreaming of it now...
So, what did you NOT do today? ;)
For other

i always love these posts!!! you make me laugh!!! maybe your burn will turn to tan?! i think i vow to never eat again on a daily basis. i blame the over indulging on the babe bakin' in the oven. that's allowed, right? ooh, laying out on the beach with your bestie - now that surely sounds perfect!!!

I did not lose my temper with my teen sons because I did not receive a letter from the school concerning their tardies.....

On a more positive note - bet your kids will remember seeing "How to Train Your Dragon" with fond memories. Not the least part of which will be the fact that they did get to miss school to see it!

Again, you made me laugh - that picture is great. Perfectly suited to the post. xox

Where in Florida did you live? I was raised there and miss it so much - my heart aches. I resided in Miami. South Beach was a regular place for me in those days.

Not to add insult to injury, but your sunburn totally reminded me of a bib! Hahaha!

That is so cool. You went to a movie on a school day. That is pretty risky. Actually, no sunscreen is more risky.

I loved your post on forgiveness. I love anything honest. You asked for my perspective, although I have struggled through these situations for many years. My mentor drove home the idea that what I bind here is bound in heaven. There is nothing that God can do with another person as long as I hold him/her in unforgiveness. If I release them and leave them at the cross, God can work on them. If I want things around me to change, it had to start with me, literally, freeing the people in my life.

I assure you this starts with a prayer every 30 seconds. Then it becomes less frequent, until the burden of it is removed. It is work, sister, but SO worth it.

Send me an email if there is a way I can specifically pray for you. Hang in there, Leah.

I did not see "How to Train Your Dragon" last week with the kiddos, nor did we have hot buttered popcorn while watching it.

I did not overeat at lunch either...the chocolate cake was a figment of my imagination. (I have a vivid imagination!)
